Tribute to my wife…

It's been awhile since we have put any updates on the blog, although we have posted a newsletter on the site recently. The purpose of this entry is to pay tribute to my wife, Marcia. January 15, 2008, will mark the two year anniversary of the first meeting we had on full time deputation. Since that time we have driven roughly 60,000 miles, flown to Seattle and back 4 times, moved once, slept in scores of different beds, and visited more than 80 churches. And in those 24 months Marcia will have spent 14 of those months pregnant, 9 of those months pregnant while caring for a toddler. Needless to say, the Lord has given her a lot of grace.

I just want to say publicly how much I have appreciated her perseverance over the past two years. She does not know I am posting this, but I have to say it. She is a great wife and mother, and the past two years have been one long demonstration of that fact. I thank God for her.
