I have a project today that I have been putting off – thank you notes. And we have a ton of them to write. Writing thank you notes can be a little tedious, especially when you have a lot of them, but today's thank you note project will also be a great reminder of the Lord's blessing.
I won't go into all of the details, but you may well be able to imagine the kind of costs involved with having a baby. And, we found out not long before the baby's arrival that for various reasons this birth was going to cost us a lot more than we had anticipated. But here is the reason for all those thank you notes I'm going to write. All through this month we have seen gift after gift show up in our account at GFA – in a way that we have never experienced before. There were only a few people who even knew about the extra costs we were going to face with the baby, but the Lord knew, and His hand is evident in the way He has supplied our needs. At this point, as far as I can tell, He has completely removed any financial burden concerning our medical bills.
So, I have a list of thank yous to write. If by chance you have sent us a gift and you don't receive a note, please understand that I have checked and re-checked, and I have done my best not to leave anyone out.
Most of all, thanks and praise belongs to the Lord for His faithfulness to us during this time.
