Ten Years!

Our ten-year class reunion from BJU was held this weekend. We were able to attend the post-Bible conference reception last night as well as the picnic this afternoon. There seemed to be a pretty good turnout, although it did not seem like there were very many of my fellow Bible majors present. I thought that most of our classmates had changed surprisingly little (in appearance, anyway) since 1998. We enjoyed ourselves and would have been glad for more time to spend with everyone.

For us, the past ten years have largely been years of preparation. I've spent five of those years in seminary and nearly three more now either transitioning into deputation or actually on deputation. Marcia spent two more years in grad school herself and another three helping me through seminary. I can't wait to see what the next ten years holds for us. We are on the brink of a new phase of life…
