In the swing of things…

We are now into a full stretch of meetings. We had a good trip to Hixson, TN, and back this past weekend. If I have not made it clear yet, we are still fine-tuning our technique for traveling with Maggie and Gwyneth. However, the Lord always supplies just the thing that we need to get us through. In Hixson, His provision came in the form of an exceedingly hospitable couple who gave us the use of their entire upstairs during our stay. We could not have hoped for a better setup.

While passing through Atlanta we even managed to squeeze in a visit to our favorite home furnishings store, IKEA. A little-known fact about our family is that we have visited IKEA stores in several different states during our deputation travels. One time, before Maggie was born, we even hauled a wardrobe from a Pittsburgh IKEA all the way back to Greenville in our Honda. Obviously, the wardrobe required some assembly. However, after the way this last IKEA visit went, I think we are going to wait awhile before trying that with both kids again.:)

Anyway, we are scheduled to be in six churches over the next four weeks. Thankfully, we will be able to come home in between weekends, which makes a huge difference for our family. I'm so thankful that the Lord allowed us to arrange our schedule this way. Please keep us in your prayers.
