After a nearly three week break from updating the blog, I think I'm overdue to post something. The picture is from our recent trip to Williamsburg, VA. We were hosted by Faith Baptist Church, a group of people whom we were sorry to leave. Gwyneth was actually the most popular of the McLeans, I think, judging by the number of people who lined up to hold her.
Since we were in such a touristy place, we decided to stay an extra day and see some sights. We ended up at Jamestown Settlement, where the picture was taken. It was great, although it was so hot that we could not stay outside for long. The visit was worthwhile, although Maggie thought that the Indian village was a zoo (she kept asking where the lions were). She also thought that the museum was an aquarium.
After spending a good part of Monday in Williamsburg, we returned to our host's home, took a nap, and then, on the spur-of-the-moment, decided to drive home. We didn't have anything else to do, our hosts were gone for the evening, and the kids travel better at night, so we left Williamsburg around 6:30 and arrived home at 2 a.m.
