| The past few weeks have rushed by so quickly that I obviously have not been able to take the time to update this blog. Sorry! Let me try to make amends.
On October 26 we held our final deputation service at Westerville Bible Church, which is Abbie Nicholson's home church (see picture). It was a special blessing to stay with Abbie's parents and be in a church that was ready interested in the field of Wales. We joked about how I would throw our display in the church dumpster after the service, but we actually brought it back to Greenville with us. We have now been back in Greenville for over a week. We thought maybe it would be a slow couple of weeks until we left for Wales, but that was probably a silly thing to think. Mostly, we have been doing those things that we will not be able to do in North Wales (eating Thai food, going to Starbucks, soaking in the November sunshine, etc.) as well as doing lots of other important things. We leave one week from today, and we can hardly believe it. The Lord is gracious. |
