If you read our last update you know that we hosted a coffee morning last Saturday in the community centre where our church meets. It went okay. Due to some intervening circumstances, we had a little less participation than usual from our church folks. And the weather turned a little cooler after being nice all week, so I think we had fewer people out walking around than we might have expected. But the gospel did make progress in the lives of a few people, and we were able to make inroads with one family in particular with whom we have repeated contact in the last several months. They have yet to come to church, but that is a big step for most people.
One purpose of the coffee morning was to invite people to our Good Friday service this week. Please pray for this event. There are still some “Christmas & Easter” Christians left in this country, and we would like for some of them to come hear the gospel this Friday.
