Even though we successfully moved into our new house a week and a half ago, we have not been able to do much more than get the main things in place. The kids have been sick for over a week, and Marcia has been sick since last Saturday. Somehow, I have been spared, so far. We took Gwyneth to the doctor today, since she is the youngest and has been sick the longest, but the doctor wasn't too concerned – just a virus, he said. We were beginning to wonder if everyone had the H1N1 virus, but it doesn't seem to be that.
So, we could use your prayers. We certainly had hoped that we would be further along in the settling-in process by now, but the Lord knows all these things.
On a more positive note, Marcia passed her driving test yesterday! This has proven to be a daunting obstacle for us, but the Lord has helped her overcome it. Obviously, with all of the sickness this was the worst time to take the test (and it had been re-scheduled from a different day), but we were reminded of the Scripture, “when I am weak, then I am strong.” So, we are exceedingly relieved to have put that behind us.
