We recently were informed that internet service in our home will not be active until the 8th of December. Don't ask me why, because I don't know. It took six weeks for it to go live when we first moved here, and I committed to not letting it frustrate me as much as it did last time…
We're settling into our house alright. Still some work to do, but Marcia and Abbie went to IKEA on Monday and Marcia came back with some stuff to make things a little more “homey” (drapes, rug, etc.) We're looking forward to celebrating Thanksgiving in our new home with the Nicholsons. It's our turn this year.
I'm still working on getting involved in the RE program at the high school. The headmaster seems to be all for my being involved and assured me that he would have the head of RE give me a call. I'm still waiting, and that was Monday. Pray that this opportunity opens up. If not, I know the Lord has other doors to open for us – this just seemed like a really good one.
