Well, I guess it’s time to pick up with the blog again. Sorry to those of you who faithfully check this blog even though it lacks a working rss feed. You might be interested to know that there will be some major changes coming to our site, Lord willing, within a month or so. It should work better for everyone involved.
But that isn't what I was referring to when I mentioned “the future.” I was talking about our plans for the ministry here. Joe and I have been working on our 10 year plan in recent weeks, and it has been quite a healthy exercise. As we prayed, discussed, philosophized, and tried to think through what our job should look like when it is completed, a number of things began to crystallize for us. I definitely think that the Lord has given us wisdom throughout the process, although we're not quite finished yet.
Of course, with the Nicholsons planning for their furlough to begin half-way through this year, that adds some additional complexity to getting our 10 year plan off the ground. But, in the main, I'm excited about what the Lord could do in the coming years.
