Our church is having a funeral tomorrow, so that’s going to make for an extra-busy day for us. A woman in our church, who was part of it from the earliest stages, passed away over a week ago. Thankfully, we will be able to hold the funeral in a nearby evangelical church, and our church will be providing a meal for the family. It has been good to see many in the church rally around the husband who was left behind and offer to help with the meal, etc. Please pray that the gospel preached at the funeral would make an impact on the unsaved family members who will be there.
We are also hosting a Coffee Drop-In on Saturday in the Community Centre, so there is also some work to be done in preparation for that. Sometimes we feel like nothing is happening and that our ministry is going so slowly, but this is not one of those times.
