Well, this new site has been up for a few weeks, and those faithful few who check this site often have come up empty every time. Sorry! The month began with Good Friday and Easter events and then took off from there.
Some may not have heard yet that Marcia is expecting a baby, due the 15th of October. Obviously, that has begun seriously to affect our lives already, and it only gets better! Thankfully, she is past the feeling-ill-all-the-time phase. Now she’s in the feeling-tired-all-the-time phase, which probably will last around 16-18 years.:-)
In other news, we’ve had overnight guests twice this month. Right after Easter, Art and Debbie Cunningham visited us for a day and half, along with their twin boys, Robert and David. Although just 11 years old, Robert and David have made a nearly life-changing impact on our girls, and they are the frequent subject of conversation around our house. I didn’t think this would start so early. And just this week, we hosted my cousin Laurie and her husband John for a few days. In addition to being family, they also come from one of our supporting churches, so we were doubly glad to have them here! When my girls aren’t talking about Robert and David, they seem to find lots of reasons to bring up their cousin John (whom Gwyneth calls “uncle John”).
Anyway, we do still consider ourselves to be missionaries, but we have happened to have some guests lately.
